The Maid-O’-Mist VB#34 Vacuum Breaker is a 3/4” steam system component designed for residential and commercial applications. It works by introducing air into the system when flow stops, breaking the vacuum seal and preventing contaminants from back-flowing into the water supply. Rated for up to 150 PSI and a temperature range of 140°F–366°F, it features a straight 3/4” MNPT male connection and is adjustable from 1/4” to 20” Hg vacuum (factory set at 2” Hg). Built from steel with a compact 3” x 1-1/4” profile, it's suitable for closed vessels and piping systems where induced vacuum control is required.
